| Hello! My name is Ivanna. I'm 24 years old and I'm from the Ukraine, currently live in my beautiful home-village in the Western part of the country with my family, my mom and youngest sister. My other sister is married and lives separately with her husband.
A few months ago I came back from the USA where I'd spent almost two years living in a wonderful family, helping out a single mom and taking care of her two beautiful teenage daughters, Jackie and Sonia. The experience was great and quite valuable for both me and the family. My responsibilities as an Au'Pair included driving the girls to school and later picking them up as well as driving them to and from different activity classes (so, as you can see, I have a good driving experience), cooking healthy food for them, doing the laundry, running various small errands, looking after the house, helping out with taking care of their two dogs and two cats...During all that time I got to love the family very much and was sad to leave.
As to my other experience at taking care of children, I'd like to say that my sisters and I was brought up without a father, and as the eldest I had to help my mom take care of my two younger sisters, the youngest being 7 years younger than me.
Before I went abroad I'd graduated first from a College of Education in 2008 and then from Ivan Franko Lviv National University in 2009 where I majored in English Philology. As a part of the curriculum I spent my 6-months' pre-diploma practice at Lviv public English specialised school teaching English. During my senior year of college I took up on my teacher's advice and started tutoring. I really enjoyed working with kids, and they with me, so now when I'm back home I countinue tutoring.
To sum up, I'd like to say again how much I enjoy spending time with kids and taking care of them. I'm a kind, loving, mature,responsible, hard-working and reliable person who will be happy to live and work with your family. |
