| Hi! I am Maricel Macapia 33 yrs old, i am was working as a caregiver for elder here in Israel for 5 yrs . I am hard working, reliable person and dedicated. i am taking care of 84 yrs old man, my duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Assisting in walking ( he cannot stand by himself, he uses a walker)
Dressing
Bathing
Personal hygienic/home health care
Recreational activities
Performing duties for elder care such as changing bed linen, preparing meals, assisting in and out of bed, grooming and administering oral medications under doctors orders or direction of nurse
Cooking
House cleaning- vacuuming, dusting, dishes, bed making, laundry or up keeping wherever needed
Errand running such as taking patient to doctor appointments, shopping, social events or activities
Monitoring and record keeping of vital signs or other health issues- reporting to doctor any unusual or unhealthy symptoms
A caregiver can be a valuable motivational by encouraging the patient to follow daily routine of healthy living.
And as of now I am taking care of a child with special needs he has cerebral palsy my duties and responsibilities are as follows:
